Q Acoustics and Onkyo Tx Nr 609

I have an onk 609 running the whole show at the moment, with Q Acoustics 7000 providing the 5.1. I would like to bolster the stereo sound by adding 2 new speakers.I have the Q Acoustics 2050i s in mind as my future 2 front channels.
I ve read that the 2050i s compliment the 2000i series very well, but how would these floorstanders work with the 7000 s? I would appreciate any feedback/ideas ....

You shouldn't have any problems introducing the 2050is to your system, but i'd consider looking at Q Acoustic's dedicated centre channel, the Q2000C just to keep the balance between your front three speakers. If you ask your local dealer nicely, perhaps they'll let you borrow one, just to hear the difference
