RE: What are you reading?

Re-reading Nicholas Rodger's "The Command of the Ocean" (A Naval History of Britain Vol 2 1649 - 1815) and "The Safeguard of the Sea" (A Naval History of Britain Vol 1 660 - 1649)

I am re-reading these in anticipation of his third volume being published in June this year.

Never read it.  Nor To Kill A Mockingbird.  The latter is obviously a favourite of parents at school, we have Jems, Scouts and Atticuses...

I have that on BBC CD. It's no longer available as a CD but you can get it on iTunes for £3.95 ...

Awww,

it's not read by Bennet. I had a Whinnie The Pooh audio book read by Bennet. On cassette. I think it might have been the coolest, well, thing, ever.

Currently reading The Strain

Currently reading The Strain (Guillermo Del Toro) and enjoying it.

Now have a quandary, as I'm recording the tv series and don't want to spoil that. Decisions.

Loads of text books for my MA

Loads of text books for my MA in Military History that I have just started.  For relaxation have just finished Satre's "The Age of Reason" and am a few pages into "The Reprieve" the second book in the trilogy, a much harder read as he runs several themes in parallel and skips between them sometimes on a sentence by sentence basis.  I haven't read them for about 20 years which was too long to wait!
