Just got the CD - had a few listens tonight and I really like it. But does it sound like Alex Turner of Arctic Monkeys?
That's been bugging me for days, as to who it reminded me of. There's a definite similarity

A bit of shameless self publicity, but I genuinely am listening to it!

Ooh that reminds me, finally completed ripping my CD collection recently, including the copy of Cohesion you sent me.

When I loaded it up into Plex it managed to scrape/download the artwork and band info from somewhere, which i thought pretty cool, especially considering it failed to find some of the artwork for the likes of the Stones and Floyd  Cool

Described as classical poistambient noctural atmospheric neo-progressive folk world rock. I say if you like The Pineapple Thief, Porcupine Tree try this Norwegian band (lyrics in English)

If I've told you once I've told you a million times. Stop exaggerating.

Oh all right.  Is Grand Duke of all known audible frequencies more acceptable?  That gives a little leeway for unknown variables.

Haha! I thought I'd given all my copies (including my own!) away, but then I found one just before Christmas and listened to it for the first time in about 2 years....  Not bad, but feels odd there's only 2 of the 5 of us from that recording currently in the band.. Smile

Glad there are still copies out there being listened to and hopefully enjoyed.

Good album.

I like the 'Meat Puppet' cover songs. The cover version of David Bowie's song 'The Man Who Sold the World' isn't very good though.

RE: What are you listening to?

I've just been listening to the BBC iPlayer of a couple of the 6Music shows  "Heroes or Zeroes - Rock Icons Dismantled" , hosted by Mark Radcliffe.

The two musicians given the treatment were Bruce Springsteen and Eric Clapton. If you like the Radcliffe & Maconie style and humour then these shows are a great 30 mins entertainment. Listen to the arguments for and against and then make your own mind up.
