Budget is quite broad - looking to spend anywhere between £1500 and £2200
I was looking at the Panasonic Viera TX-L47WT65B (or its bigger 55" brother - if im allowed!!!!) or the Samsung UE46F8500 (or 55")
I will be hooking up a decent av amp so not fussed about sound quality or all the smart features - picture quality is what i am really after and something thats great with sports (mainly football) and gaming on an xbox one.
I will be using a sky HD box so have no need for iplayer and freeview etc.
I would definitely go for the 55 inches and get a price match here with John Lewis:
This Samsung is cheaper but just a diiferent design (I think):
John Lewis are also offering up to £200 cashback on these TVs with conditions. You might be able to get a free Samsung phone too!
Wow - thats amazing Gel - thank you for that, much appreciated.
Do you have any idea which one would be better for picture quality and motion out of the Samsung UEF8500 or the Panasonic TXL55WT65B?
Or simply which is the better TV
TXL55WT65B What Hi*Fi review:
On Saturday I'm having a Samsung UE46F8000 delivered. This has been after 3 Panasonic TVs and backlight issues on all of them. Personally I'll not venture into Panasonic territory again after my recent experiences.
