TV Mounting at Vertical Angle

Hi,

I was going to mount my new LED TV on the sloping part of the ceiling in my attic bedroom. However someone has advised that this will affect the TV/screen. Is anyone aware of this? I was going to mount a samsung 40 inch LED TV but not sure now. I will try to contact samsung tomorrow but would appreciate any information before then. Cheers
