Tv issue - LG 42LD450

So, have a bit of an issue with my LG 42LD450, wondering if there was a fix before I take it back to the shop.
Basically, when I plug in an hdmi source that's allready turned on (pc, laptop, turning ps3 on etc...) the ariel signal stops working. So if my PC is on, I can't see anything on the tv's freeview signal at all. If I turn it off, the signal comes back fine.
It's a bit intermittent though, as it doesnt work 100% of the time. Anyone got an idea as to what it could be?
