Sony KDL-40Z4500 Screen problems

I purchased a Sony KDL-40Z4500 back in march 2009, and it has now started to devlop screen issues. The blacks look really pixelated sometimes when fading to lighter colours, and when going from a light screen to a dark screen there are ghost images left from the previous image and visible in the dark areas, is this ghosting?
Anyway, any solutions, firmware upgrades or is the screen on its way out? its a 200Hz motionflow TV and bever been sure if I have had the settings right from te begginning, but I am sure the picture was great to start with.
Any suggestions? What is the sony warranty on the screen?
