Sony hx855 46 inch compatibility with Macbookpro
hi everybody,
i wonder if you can help, as i am facing a bizarre problem...
i just received my new award winning sony tv (hx85) and tried to connect my macbook (Snow leopard) pro via hdmi...
looks like it doesn't work !!!!
i can see the image of my desktop on the screen, but it is not continuous, rather interrupted every one second by one second of black and white fizz...
does someone know about this problem? can anybody help please?

thanks for your answer, yes, it is a genuine cable... and i tried more than one input.
it looks more like a driver or a software incompatibility...
Well that's just weird... but i discovered that HDMI 2 port doesn't work, as stated before... but HDMI 3 DOES work !
so yes, it's quite bizarre... but i am saved !

A freind had a similar issue with his hx903, is the cable a genuine apple cable? we found that using a random display port > HDMI just didn't work 100% of the time, but the genuine apple cable fixed all his issues.
