Hi all

We take delivery of our lovely new panasonic px70 42" on thurs (can't wait!).

I have been told by some that you need to "run it in" on low colour and contrast settings etc for about 200 to 300 hrs for it to produce the best picture  Is this true?

I read about the dvd mentioned on here about setting a plasma but not purchased it yet.

Can anyone help me out pls?.

Howard

No, the 200 hour run-in simply helps avoid burn-in probs.

The THX optimiser on any THX certified DVD is a good start for set-up, as is Digital Video Essentials, sold by most online DVD retailers.
