thanks for reply Andrew, hope it is true, be good if they do start again, but only if they can achieve the high standards of previously.

anyway, very happy bunny now. ordered a pioneer lx86 amp, big big grin on my face, apart from snow will cause some delays it getting to me lol nevermind prolongs the excitement i guess.

Well putting 2+2 together and making 5 to paraphase........... Apple.

Sharp involed with making Apple TV's i believe..... Sharp linked with Pioneer (Elite)....... BINGO Pioneer are going to be involed with the new Apple TV !!!!!!!  Shock

Pioneer are barely even involved with the Elite range, they've just licensed the name.

Well give a theory then the OP heard somthing and AE say pioneer not able to make TV's any more no plant.

Sharp are involved with Apple TV ,  Sharp and Pioneer have a partneship. Pionner also support Apple alot in there product design. 2+2=5..  excellent!

I've probably worded that wrong that's not the interpretation i meant.  More along the lines of using apple products with pioneer products.

Pioneer supports apple AirPlay etc, I think that's what he means...? As do many others, this is not unique.

Except of course when it did that with Kuro, with huge fanfare, it all went a bit pear-shaped, rather than Apple-shaped, in time...
