Panasonic - "direct"? ;-)

I recently found that Panasonic Viera TV has its own Facebook page - staffed by a diligent team
 at Panasonic Japan, lead by 'Spike' Komatsu (formerly of Pioneer display division).

I put my own chronic problems concerning my Viera Z1 TV and the poor service I received, to him;
Panasonic UK are no longer talking to me and consider the matter closed : however
 they leave a VERY unhappy customer with a TV that has brightness fluctuation
problems on many "off air" and film productions.

Spike has referred the matter internally. To date, no news from Panasonic Japan.

This is my last chance to try to resolve this with Panasonic - other options would not
 necessarily recover the TV cost :cry:

Panasonic TV owners - with or without difficulties-  may find this page of some use, you can
pass comment more directly to the Viera team at Panasonic HQ.

Thanks gel. I think in this age of political correctness, Home Cinema has its own p word! ROFL
Which is why I have been absent for many months. I am still hanging in there. :roll:

I see even Oldboy has moved over to the WHF award winning Sony HX853. We all want a quiet life
 with a TV that ticks all our boxes and works!! I live in hope.... :shifty:

LOL yep even I gave up with Panasonic plasma tvs Stanley because of faulty tvs and issues with gaming which is where the final fault came from imo, having a tv I was scared to use for gaming wasn't a good situation despite the better lag times. Still hoping that you get a resolution to your situation...how long has it been now? It seems to have dragged on for an eternity and for the record I'm very happy with the 46HX853 as it suits my needs far better than the GT30 plasma I had.

Fingers crossed your issue gets resolved soon, keep fighting and best of luck to you.

Samsung UE55F8000 TV (THX professional calibrated), Dali Zensor 5 7.1 (front presence configuration), Sony BDPS790, Yamaha RX-A2020, Marantz PM6004, Marantz CD6003, Virgin TiVo 1TB, Playstation 4, Playstation 3, WD TV Live, WD My Book World 1TB.
