Panasonic - "direct"? ;-)
I recently found that Panasonic Viera TV has its own Facebook page - staffed by a diligent team at Panasonic Japan, lead by 'Spike' Komatsu (formerly of Pioneer display division).
I put my own chronic problems concerning my Viera Z1 TV and the poor service I received, to him; Panasonic UK are no longer talking to me and consider the matter closed : however they leave a VERY unhappy customer with a TV that has brightness fluctuation problems on many "off air" and film productions.
Spike has referred the matter internally. To date, no news from Panasonic Japan.
This is my last chance to try to resolve this with Panasonic - other options would not necessarily recover the TV cost
