Panasonic 50gt30 box dimensions anyone?

hi i have been out today and purchased the panny 50 gt30 , how do you guys find it , i ve got to wait untill next sat for it.
I love It, best TV I've owned or seen and luckily I've had no issues like some others.
I'm a bit scared, I want to get either the 46GT or... the 50GT , the vt seems too much money for a tv given that I have three teenagers to equipe with computer items...
I dunno ? I am most confused give all the different write-ups over many pages online as to which to go for ?
In the main... the closest seated person is about 2.5 to 3m from the screen ? (help plz)
Had a major fault with mine,
band new, but tv would automatically turn off every 5 min,
got it replaced now & am expecting another set soon
for the 5 min it was on, pic qual was fine.
sd 7/10...sky hd...8/10...blu ray...9/10. (had no idea blu ray would perform better than sky hd, but it did. Tested avatar).

Sky HD is only 1080i whereas blu-ray is 1080p.
