The "65S60" looks sleek, but it won't be 3D-capable. Presumably Panasonic isn't abandoning 3D altogether. Perhaps they'll keep the 3D feature on GT and VT models (that's if they don't cease production of GT plasmas next year).

The article links copied above don't definitively answer questions about when Panasonic will stop selling plasma televisions, but it looks like there's another year in the technology yet. Not new news, but now we know for certain that the "50" models don't represent the end...

Hope there is another year because if they manage to top this years, they will go down as the best TVs.  I like the design too.
