Samsung has introduced 2 new Plasma TVs that are equipped with 802.11n (draft-n) connectivity which can stream HD content wireless.

The new 94 series of the Samsung plasma TVs are all equipped with the Wireless HD streaming feature.

It's a neat feature to have - but limited at the moment to internet/PC based content.

There are, however, plans afoot to build wireless connectivity into DVD/HD players - I saw a demo from a company called Amimon that showed HD content being beamed from a player to a projector, with little loss of quality compared to an HDMI connection.

However, no wireless 1080p for now - simply not the bandwidth to cope.

 The maximum resolution is indeed limited to 1080i according to the article, but imho. that's enough for a 42 inch screen.

On the other hand the technology from Amimon looks very impresive to me...
