new 40 inch 3d tv for conservatory

Hi I am looking to buy a new tv for my conservatory,it has to be 3d capable(for gaming mostly)40 inches and around £600.
I have been looking at the sony nx713 as it is a bit of a bargin at the moment,what do you people think.
It will be used for daily use connected to sky hd and I have seperate amp and speakers for sound so all i need realy is a tv with a good picture to replace my 26 inch samsung.
also I have a onkyo 606 amp and ps3,how or what would be the best way to connect it up to get the best sound,thanks.
PS I do not want to buy a new amp yet as i know that it has not got hdmi 1.4!!!!but does it realy make a difference as none of my hdmi cables are 1.4 either.
