I finally think the nightmare is over. The replacement has arrived and is great. The colour balance is much better and the odd changing settings thing has gone. Hopefully given a few weeks it will improve further, the last one improved with use.

Just had a firmware update on my Sony HX853. I wondered if any one has noticed any improvements?

Same here...no noticeable improvement that I've seen though. In the past it's mainly been extra apps i've noticed appear but not this time so I've no idea what the latest update was for, no results come back from google either :?
