How's the picture in terms of image depth, Gel?

Some people need to adjust to calibrated settings. If you're used to watching the "Normal" preset, calibrated settings will look quite different.

As you watch more content, especially films you're familiar with, the gains should become more apparent.

Oh, and congrats!

Hi

I would say it is a great idea.  I am really enjoying the results.  Jules is also very generous with his pricing.

I think the IFC is set to minimum.  Yep, that is just the picture I have taken.

You should turn IFC off with 24p content. It's not adding anything beneficial to the image and is actually complicating things by forcing your TV to do unnecessary guesswork.

I'd argue that IFC should be turned off with all content, though it may offer some advantages when watching 50Hz TV broadcasts.

Those pictures look awesome mate

you should try taking a picture of the same scene in normal thx mode (tv default) and your calibrated mode to see if it shows up better on camera.  Obviously this is only good for those of us that don't have a calibrated tv

Yes, it looks like the camera has picked up light readings from surrounding darkness, resulting in overexposed whites.
