Lip sync device for projector
Hi everyone, I am here to seek your wise counsel.
My girlfriend and I have just bought a projector and screen for watching films and the occasional bit of telly, we didn't want a tv permanently installed. The epson projector has speakers built in which is all good, but I would like to beef up the sound by adding some hifi 2channel sound to the mix.
The idea is this: the projector speaker acts as the centre speaker (it's quite tinny), and my Cambridge audio azur amp does the bass and music. Now to the problem. The projector has no audio out, and the source whether ps3 or WD TV HD streaming box is out of sync with the audio (slightly early). Now I know the HDMI cable to the PJ is a long one, but is there some little magic box of tricks that I can plug into the output audio signal to delay it fractionally, or am I going to have to invest in another Av receiver?
Look forward to hearing your thoughts
p.s. does anyone have some blue THX glasses they can lend me?
