Only went in for last minute xmas pressies, and came out with one of these with the "free" soundbar, plus a pana 220 BDP.

Has anyone got some optimum custom settings I can use?

FWIW I boosted the contrast and backlight to 90, and then dropped the colour by 3. Watching The Killing, on BBC4, very impressive.

Sorry for the late reply Steve, i hope you are still happy & enjoying your new TV.

The backlight generally is only turned up if you are watching in a well lit room.

Regards .. Paul

I'm not a huge fan of TV, but I have to admit that this set with the just installed Sky HD is deeply impressive. The soundbar is nicely burning in too and sounds better than I thought; not "hi-fi" perhaps, but rattles the house when playing a movie which is all that counts!
