Help with annoying Pop Up
Hi Guys
I have just managed to bag the last in the shop of the Panasonic TXP42GT30 on a very good deal. As the TV had been set up in the shop i didn't need to go through all the set up details from scratch. However i have a problem, every 30 mins or so the features of this tv pop up on screen, easy to get rid of, but after a few days now it is starting to get annoying.
I have been through all the menu but for the life of me cannot see were i can turn this off. Can anyone help me please?

Sounds like an in-store demo mode. Ring the shop and tell them you want someone to come over and turn it off as they should have done that before they boxed it up.
Are you referring to the demo mode? Hold down the volume down button on the set, and the menu button on the remote for 5-10 seconds. It will do a full factory reset and show you a self diagnostic screen. Switch the tv on and off again, and you should be good to go.
