HDMI 1.3 plasma/lcd around 40" full hd

I have held off buying a new tv as i want one with the above specs. does anyone know 1 on sale or in the pipeline. i know the m87 samsung so far but am hoping for a little better £1500 to spend. Is there any point getting old hdmi spec as ps3 has hdmi1.3 and want to get most out of it
