Glass Front LCD / LED TV.. How to control reflection?

I have recently bought a Toshiba 55" glass front TV. (WL76. TV Performance is to my satisfaction but in living room there is always day light coming from windows which is making the glass front very reflective. I have seen a crop of new TVs with the same glass front including some from Sony.

Is this reflection problem only with this model of Toshiba or is it universal for all galss front TVs?

What can I do to reduce the reflection beyond blinding the windows, as it defeats the purpose of TV watching during day time (and the bigger TV choice against a projector is for the same reason of not to blind windows)?
