Do projector screens make a big difference?
I have a full HD projector and have been using it onto an off-white wall for a few years. The image is good but I do need to pull the curtains to get decent contrast.
My question is: Would a glass-beaded screen make an appreciable difference to the image quality - both brightness and contrast?
The convenience of just using the wall is great as the room looks 'normal' when not watching TV. I use the projector for everything and do not own a TV but TV's of friends certainly seem more 'viewable' in daylight.
Any help and advice from people using screens would be much appreciated, thanks.
Thanks for the repsonse Nick. I am looking at a 106" 16:9 screen for about £100.
What should I be aware of as potential problems or issues with such a budget screen? It gets good reviews.

Yes without doubt.
