choosing between Sony KDL-HX853 40" and 46"
hey
according to the reviews of Sony KDL-HX853 on this homepage, it seems that the 40" version is having a better dvd quality picture than the 46".
The plan was to buy the 46" version in the nearest future because i will fit perfect for my room, but i came in doubt because i watch alot of movies on dvd and i want the best picture quality as possible.
can anyone help me choose?
Always buy the biggest set you can afford and accomodate, provided of course that it performs well, because most people wish they had if they don't.
Agreed, i don't have any problems with dvd's on my 46" tv, you could alway's buy blu-ray's then you wouldn't have a problem.
Some have claimed the 40" has an inferior pannel to the 46"?

The trouble is that unless you go and see them side by side you will always wonder if there is a difference if you go for the larger.
You will have to go to a very helpful dealer to do this though because both sets need to come off display mode. Then have the same screen values for any appraisal of dvd performance to be meaningful.

Apple Lossless - ATV3 - AVI ADM 40 or Marantz CD50SE (modded] - AVI ADM 40
also ATV3 into AVI ADM 9T [my wife's system] and Grado SR80i
