I read the review for the Beovision 11, which is an incredible piece of kit but comes at a considerable price.

In terms of TVs that come with great sound, are there any viable alternatives?

Tricky to find a price for the Bose but seems similar to the B&O.

The wireless connection box seems a very useful feature though.

Seems there isn't a large market for TVs with great sound as standard.

Bose is £4000-5500 depending on size of the screen.

The problem is, manufacturers are concentrating on making slimmer TVs. Sound will obviously be compromised with those wafer thin speakers and zero airspace behind them.

You could look at QTV-2 which can attach to any TV & has superior sound.

B&O beoplay v1 sounds very impressive also, loewe connect id i had one of these sound quality is amazing, 80 watts pair of speakers at the front and a pair of downfiring woofers very punchy with equally good bass.

I had the 46" and paid £1895 the 40" is about £1595.

Thanks Markie, that's useful to know.  Will investigate further.
