Panasonic may have launched some of this years new tv's but it's not on their website.
From Panasonics website.
Nice work. Hadn't see that. 50vt65 31.5kg, 1.5kg heavier than last year, I guess that tv stand might have something to do with it. GT60 1.5 kg lighter than last year.
Main AV Setup: Panasonic 50VT65 TV, Pioneer Bdp-lx71, Pioneer Vsx-lx70, B&W FPM Series, B&W PV1, Optimum AV300 AV Stand, QED Silver Anniversary XT Speaker Cable & Chord Silver Plus HDMI Cables. Gadgets: iPad 4 & iPhone 4S.
Says special order:
That's expensive, too.
The F8500 price is looking more reasonable all of a sudden.
How do you know the price? When I click the link it says call for price.
Strange. When I click the link it says "In Store Price £1,699."
Hardware: Panasonic TX-P50VT65B (calibrated); Cambridge Audio Azur 651BD; Yamaha RX-A810; Teac PD-H600; PS3; B&W 601 & 600LCR (series 3); Q Acoustics QAV (rear)
Furniture and Accessories: BLOK Classix 3000 Oak AV Cabinet; Atacama Nexus 6 (atabite metal filled); 3D3 A1112
They must be out soon:
That is strange. Still says call for price for me.
That's only £200 less than the VT. Are those the sort of differentials as with the last gen of TVs?
HiFi / A/V / Bedroom
Panasonic 2013 plasma prices seem higher than last year's equivalent models.
If RGB's price is reflective of broader trends, the 50GT60 is £200 less than the 51F8500 (and £200 more than the GT50's original RRP).
I'm expecting the F8500 to trounce the GT, so the GT doesn't seem great value at the moment.
Maybe prices will come down as more retailers list these for sale. If I can get a 51F8500 for less than £1,750, I think I'll go for it. I'm bored with watching a TV that doesn't work properly.
The man in John Lewis says these will be available in about 3 weeks.
I'm smashing my Piggy Bank to get - hopefully a TX-L47DT60E - Wish me luck!!
