£700 Budget and after a 37" or 40" LCD, please help!
I'm close to tearing my hair out over this!! I cant decide on what to get, I've looked at the sony w5500 in both sizes, the Samsung b530 and b630 and the Panasonic g10, g15 and v10 but i just dont know what to buy!!
Please can anyone make any suggestions on the above or any other different models?
Thanks!
thanks for the input lobby.
With the tv i intend to use it for SKY sd, PS3, dvds and blu rays, just thought i should mention that.
Thats fine you will find most plasmas are better for gaming, although newer ranges will come early spring so bear that in mind, and you mave every save a few pounds.
Does anyone else have any other opinions?
cant comment on any other tv's but i have the panasonic 42G10 & im really happy with it, great picture especially for me gaming on ps3 & wii. Sky HD is also good viewing ![]()
I picked up a Philips 42PFL7404 for £615 just before the VAT went up which i think was great value. I know its a touch bigger but the frame round the edge of thr screen is thin. I'm very chuffed with it......

Where was that from?
Marks and Spencers of all places! Whether they made a boo boo at the time with the pricing i don't know but it found it via a link on another "AV" forum. Click the link now though ind its £849 with them.... It was a very good price!

With that budget no contest the Panasonic 42g10, it takes a top end lcd to compete with it, more natural less motion blur and 100,000hrs of running time.
