Our second TV has gone kapput, so I'm looking for something under £500 to replace it. 28inch or less is fine.

Sorry if this is a FAQ around these parts!

 Our favourite at this size is the Panasonic TX26LXD70 - available for just over £500 if you do a Google.

Also well worth considering is Sony's KDL-26T3000 - available around £450 or less.

Both have excellent Freeview tuners and a good range of connections. In addition, the Pana will accept a 1080p feed (if that matter to you on a second-room set).
