40-42 led Advice please!!

Hi,Looking to upgrade my tv,at the moment i own a sony KDL37W5810U,looking to get a 40-42 inch led(hopefully a smart tv) 3d isn't really needed but i realise they must tv have it now, my budget is around 700-850. So far quite keen on samsung or panasonic's but the amount of models has left me dazed.Any suggestions? the tv will mainly be used for watching movies and streaming from netflix etc.With much thanks

Plasma is the only way to fly man!   listen to this   How about adding the awesome Panasonic 42ST50 to your list?   read this
