3d passive/active glasses question.

Hi,

Just wanted to find out if a tv came with passive glasses,can active glasses be used to view 3d content on the same tv?

My tv is LG47 LM620 T 

 

Secondly to anyone out there knowledgeble with the settings on this tv-please let me have the best settings to get a crystal clear picture,i have a feeling my settings are not right because even on viewing a bluray disc i dont think am getting an optimum picture its not very clear,same content viewed on a diffrent tv gives much better quality picture.....yes amusing hdmi cable

No, active 3D glasses won't work on passive 3D TVs. Passive 3D glasses are extremely cheap in any case, far cheaper than active 3D glasses. They're the same ones you use at the cinema for 3D.

One can't even take it for granted that the same Active Glasses will work between different brands that use this format.  :wall:

In 2011, the top manufacturers decided on a common standard. So hopefully it's not a problem anymore.

i couldn't get my 2012 panny active glasses to sync to a 2012 Samsung. I will try again though at some point as I might have been doing it wrong :oops:
