Seems great value, if i use my Nectar points i get £20 off.

 

Anyone heard of this make?

 

Or should i pay more and get a Samsung/Panasonic/LG?

What manufacturer makes the tv you speak of? I would presume at this price point it's some obscure manufacturer from a far flung corner of the world and not a household name.
