20-26" LCD TV also to be used as PC monitor
I was considering buying a new monitor until a friend mentioned that some of the latest LCD TVs can be used with a PC.
At the moment I am using 17inch Samsung TFT monitor for viewing Freeview programmes utilising a couple of USB2.0 tv tuners.
I would now like to try a USB tuner (DVB-S2 USB Device with CI) for accessing Freesat but have been told that there might be problems with the 7-day EPG feature of Freesat so therefore would like to use to use an LCD TV so that I can just add a 'Humax Foxsat HD Freesat box' if I encounter problems with the USB DVB S2 tuner.
Can anyone recommend a good quality LCD TV (20" to 26" in size - although would prefer 26" but not essential as quality of image is more important) that can also be used as a PC monitor.
Thanks.

Thanks for your response.
I have just checked my graphics card and it has a 'TV out' socket, supports HDTV function and 'Widescreen resolution support at 16:9' is resolution: 1920 x 1080, refresh rate 85Hz.
Might just retain my existing monitor for the time being and buy a 26" LCD tv so that I can access Freesat.
I cannot fit a satellite TV pci card to my computer as I have run out of slots and so far I have only found one USB box (DVB-S2 USB Device with CI) that should be able to receive Freesat.

Any can, provided you have an HDMI or DVI out on your graphics card, but I'd counsel against it - for starters it's unlikely that you'd get a 26" Full HD television (ie with 1080 resolution), whereas far more monitors will give you that and more - my 20" iMac is 1050 max (ie very nearly full HD), whereas you won't find a 1080 20" TV anywhere, as far as I know.
