19" bedroom TV
I'm looking for a cheapish set for the bedroom and am considering the Samsung LE19B450C4 which seems to get some decent reviews on Amazon. Does anyone have any experience of this set in use, or alternatively can anyone recommend an alternative, bearing in mind the Sammy will cost less than £170.
26" is too big for the room. We just want a little set for watching on a Sunday morning or late at night. 19" is ideal.
not many options on that size.id go for the samsung

I recently bought a Panny TX-L19X10B for the kitchen, at about £200 - I can't remember exactly how much but possibly even less. It's a fantastic little set, with a great Freeview tuner and a very good PQ and SQ. I'm thinking about getting another for the bedroom.
Thanks bob.g. A quick check online puts it between £250 and £280 which is a bit more than we want to spend. The Panny looks like an excellent buy, but I couldn't justify spending quite that much, especially when I intend to change the main TV later in the year.
Matthew, we paid £199 a couple of months ago.
Thanks bob.g.
A real contender now.
i think 19" is to small in any size room . i have a 32" in a very small room and is the perfect size,
rymidd, this is obviously a matter of personal choice.
Our 19" set is in a 15' x 20' kitchen and to us apears the perfect size. It sits in a corner and delivers good TV without being too intrusive. Our main set is 25", but we are considering increasing this to 32" when we have the digital switchover.
We just want something small that doesn't take up much space but offers us the ability to watch TV for a few minutes at night or when we get up in the morning. Anything larger would be wasted.
what have you got in mind for your main tv mathew ? ex503 ?

EX503 is a possibility, but I will also be looking at Samsung, Sharp, and Panasonic models...
I even like the look of a 42" Panasonic plasma I saw this afternoon, though I'm not ready to buy quite yet.
