Putting mildly The Fall are now both a national treasure of a certain strain and an unacquired taste for many.
Their records sound great. Hi-concept recordings of scuffled, often scuzzy music.
Why doesn't the vinyl release arrive at the same time as the CD?
Just a little gripe...but c'mon!!! (We are paying more BTW).
At the Bristol HiFi show I bought 180g vinyl copies of Revolver and The White Album and played those last night: Jolly good too!
I'm guessing you might be talking about The Next Day by David Bowie? I was a bit surprised to see a two week delay in the vinyl release date from the CD/download date myself. I've listened to it on Spotify a few times and I'm looking forward to the vinyl even more now.
