What vinyl are you listening to?
A little Sunday morning peace so back to the 80's (well almost
)
Fleetwood Mac - Tango in the Night
ELO - Discovery
Mike Oldfield - Five Miles Out
This evenings LP is The Flower Kings "Banks of Eden". I reviewed this album for Metaltalk.net, and was sent an MP3 to review from. I really struggled to hear into the mix, and was finding it difficult to write the review, even though I enjoyed the music. On a whim I bought the LP/CD package from my local shop and the music came alive, especially on LP. How anyone can listen to compressed music as a main source beats me.

Your father drains another beer, he's one of the few that cares Crawling behind a Saracen's hull from the safety of his living room chair
Zappa/Mothers - Roxy and Elsewhere
Bend Beyond - Woods
Massey Hall - Neil Young
Symphony no.4 - Eduard Tubin /Neeme Jarvi
Station To Station - David Bowie
It's still Bend Beyond by Woods for me. A truly great album. West-coast with a scratchy psych-pop twist.
John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers with Eric Clapton .
Heroes - David Bowie
Mark Knopfler's "Privateering" from last year. I wasn't a huge Dire Straits fan but this is a really enjoyable listen, and excellent quality sound too.

And he's peeling off those dollar billsSlapping them downOne hundred, two hundredAnd I can see those fighter planes.
Awayday - Villagers
Brand new, arrived in the post this morning.

I am listening to ZZ top's "Eliminator" and Tom Petty's "Southern Accents".
