RE: What vinyl are you listening to?

The past couple days we have been doing a lot of listening, artists include: Kenny Rogers Willie Nelson, Lonnie Donigan, Everly Brothers, Barbara Courtney-King, Steve Gibbons, Peter Gabtiel and Simply Red.  I have also dipped into Tom Waits, Jeff Beck and some of my Church Organ recordings, thats a lot of listening, cant get enough of it . . .

I've been on a bit of a vinyl binge over the last couple of weeks, I got the Beatles box set + the below, at least it is now Christmas so I can get round to listening to it all -

This afternoon, got to be Phil Spector's Christmas Album.

Sounds just like it did when I bought it all those years ago.

Darlene Love's voice is just fantastic with all those drums and orchestration making a great sound.

Pity it was done in the days of Mono, but still a great sound on vinyl.

Remember the Beatles & Phil Spector's motto "Back to Mono"!!!!!!
