SHOW NEWS: Myryad Mi all-in-one hi-fi system out now for £1250

Myryad Mi

Just to recap, the Mi is Myryad's answer to the Arcam Solo. It's a stylish, one-box hi-fi offering CD playback, DAB and FM radio reception, iPod connectivity and an optinal Bluetooth module for connecting A2DP-enabled mobile phones and MP3 players.

A Class D digital stereo amplifier delivers 100W per channel into 4 ohms. Fully digital signal processing allows digital audio sources, such as CD or DAB radio, to be processed and amplified entirely in the digital domain, without introducing the distortions associated with conversion and analogue processing.

Apple iPod connectivity is provided using the M-Port cable supplied. This enables the Mi to replicate the iPod's menu on its 3.5in colour screen, so the user can easily select artists, albums, songs, playlists and genres.

The optional Myryad BluePlay receiver plugs into the back of the Mi to receive music streams from A2DP-compliant sources.

The Myryad Mi is available now for £1250 (without speakers) through Armour Home Electronics. We will be testing it in the December issue of What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision, on sale from November 13th.

If you'd like to see and hear it before then, check it out here at the show on the Armour Home Electronics stand.
