Bought the Debut off fleabay about 15 months ago, thought that would be the beginning and end of it but am loving listening to vinyl so much it's time for an upgrade. Going to have to go down the 2nd-hand route as money is tight - £200 absolute max to spend.

What would be the recommendations out there? From other posts I've read, I'm thinking Rega - Planar 2, P2, Planar 3 possibly? Thought for a while about a Technics SL1200 or a Thorens TD150, but it sounds like they'd have to be "works in progress" and would end up costing more than the £200 budget by the time the necessary work had been done on them. (Not to mention I would have no idea what to do if it came to replacing/upgrading parts).

Am I on the right track here? Any other suggstions?

cheers

2 days left and cross your fingers. There is a systemdek IIX900 with RB250 on the bay. No bids and on budget,if you are spawny you may get lucky. Better option than a planar imo,but others may/will dissagree no doubt.

Thanks! I see it was listed previously at £250 and didn't sell... now in my watch list.

Good man. Flipping good deck and easily tweakable when funds permit. No lid nay problem, sort it at a later date. Good luck buddy.
