reasonably priced vinyl for rock/metal fans
English

I just thought i'd post this,as i've just stumbled upon a website that sells vinyl among other things, if you are a rock/metal fan it it definitely worth a look. i've just ordered 3 albums for £40 delivered. some albums are available at £9.99 . these are all new, not second hand.

the website is called EMP-Online. just google it.

hope this helps some of you out there buy some new stuff.

It usually depends in the artist (and therefore the record company). As an example, albums from the likes of Rainbow and Black Sabbath seem to be very well price (generally under £15 each).

i'm happy to pay between 10

i'm happy to pay between 10 and 15 quid for an album, any more than this and it's gotta be something i really want and will play a lot.

out of around 25 new albums i have bought, i have only had 1 bad one, this has tended to get damaged very easily, every time it's been played, theres been another scratch or pop, which is the major downside of vinyl.

everything else has been terrific. excellent quality, and zero scratches.

at the moment i am mostly buying albums that i already own on cd, and sometimes on cassette as well. it may seem like overkill, but i'm enjoying my hobby, and thats all that matters to me. "we all do it for the pleasure"

Thanks for the recommendation.

Placed an order last week. Just a single album for starters and some 'cool' clothing for my daughter. A fiver for delivery, but was slightly alarmed when they stated on order confirmation to allow 10 days for delivery. anyway, arrived this morning by Parcel Force. Seems they dispatch from Germany. All in all though, well packaged and I'm pretty happy.

I'll now look more thorough through their vinyl offerings for me! Wink
