Ordered a Rega RP3

To be honest: I really don't know 
of course the best answer would be that you should listen them both. At least for me the Silverscreen seemed to be a little bit too bright.

No the Rp6 has a gloss plinth and aluminium brace

My white RP3 has arrived I cant collect it until wednesaday though...........so excited!
However I have gone for the Elys 2 cartridge now as apparently you have to have the dust lid open with the 2M red!

No way!! That's a serious addiction! I've spent a bit lately on the system so this may have to wait a bit longer. Went to a friends last week though who has an RP3 (xmas pressie from wife) - we did some A/B testing with vinyl vs MP3 equivalents - his new vinyl in the majority of cases sounded lovely, really nice. Highlights were the 2012 remaster of Ziggy Stardust, Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Blood Sugar Sex Magik and John Coltrane stuff. The only exception was The White Album from the recent remasters, on his system didnt sound as clear as the MP3 - was a bit disapppointing - surprising.
its not the TT - its the mastering/recording - such a shame, its a travesty
