RE: Live Vinyl Albums

A good live one always whacks a good studio one, in no particular order :

Little Feat - Waiting For Columbus

Weather Report 8:30

Lou Reed - Rock N Roll Animal

I was treating the neighbours to the latter only this weekend  :bounce:

RE: Live Vinyl Albums

One of the best live recordings on vinyl I have ever heard is Neil Young 'Massey Hall 1971' out on the Reprise label.

Superbly recorded with absolutely no surface noise.

Also Grateful Dead  'Live Dead' on Mobile Fidelity

Antonio Forcione Quartet in Concert on the Naim Label.

Nina Simone 'At Town Hall' on Four Men with Beards label

I do like a bit of variety I do. Smile

Oh, and Bert Jansch 'Young Man Blues- Live in Glasgow' Stamford Audio Limited edition.

Motto: Never pay full price for anything, there is always room to haggle!

Tom Evans Audio Design amplification / Acoustic Zen Adagio speakers / Dr. Feickert Analogue Woodpecker-SME310 / Oppo 105eu
