Live Vinyl Albums

Live albums are almoust my favourit, usually they are well mastered and contain the best songs from the band/singer.

I've a few that i listening at least once or twice a month, they are:

Alchemy from Dire Straits

Live In The City Of Lights from Simple Minds

Paris from Diana Krall

Paris from Supertramp

At Budokan from Cheap Trick

what are yours?

Best REGArds

Seconds Out by Genesis has always been one of my favourites.

Another really good one is Stage by David Bowie.

One of my favourite live LPs is Time Fades Away by Neil Young. Sounds great on vinyl too.

Make sure you get the most recent version of Stage with the correct running order and no overdubs. Another Bowie goodie is Nassau 76 which came as part of the deluxe Station To Station reissue.

This is another favourite of mine:

Unfortunately his sublime Acoustic Live album is not available on vinyl I believe, but just get the CD instead, it's top notch.

Oh, and prompted by all the rather "sniffy" comments on a recent thread I was moved to dig out this old double album from the 70s..
