This is one of the pictures of it from the ebay listing.
Thanks for all the tips Alears.
It has a Nima tonearm, but no cartidge, so I'm hoping the Shure M97xe I bought for the other deck will be good enough, if not, I'll sell it and buy something more appropriate.
Ooooh... very nice BBB.

Looking good BB, this time mate all will go well.
Nice liddle Goldring will suit that Nima , when you got a few notes to spare , methinks.
Which Goldring do you recommend?
LOUNGE: Panasonic TX-P50GT50 (is poorly) / Panasonic DMP-BDT120 / Yamaha RX-A2020 / Q Acoustics 2020i (front) / Q Acoustics 2020 (rear) / Q Acoustics 2000Ci / Q Acoustics1000Si / Roksan Radius 5.2 / Sky HD / WD My Book Live / Tacima CS-929
BEDROOM: Samsung LE32C450 / Sony BDP-S360 / Echostar HDS-600RS / Netgear WNCE2001
My local hi-fi & Roksan specialist recommended a Goldring 2400, when a bought mine a few years ago.
Roksan Caspian Pre amp, Caspian Mono Power amp x 2, NAD M51 DAC, B&W 805 Signature, Roksan Radius turntable, Denon-1713UD, MF phono & headphone amps, PS3, Mac/AE/Apple TV
Enjoy your new purchase BBB.
I enjoyed the Roksan Xerxes when I heard it a (very) long time ago.

Me, I'd save a bit and head down the 1042 route.
The 2400 is also a good suggestion but I have not been able to compare it.

Only if you want to fork out for a 'phono preamp as well.
Very diplomatic Al.
One tries to be but sometimes my 'Boris Johnston' side takes over.
I am sure Iceman16 was being very thoughtful putting forward the Denon as an option but, realistically, low-output moving coils are an expensive route to take. It is, however, one that Bigbernard might like to consider in the future when his bank account can take another hit as I can heartily recommend the 103R as well as I used it myself before progressing. It is terrific value for money.
Says he performing a quick 'exit stage left.'
Sure that wasnt exit via the trap door ? .
I actually deleted my initial response to the denon suggestion and replaced it with the bunny. It wasnt aimed at the nail either.
Well BBB any news cart fitted yet?

When I get something new I can usually wait about ... well I can't. I have to try it immediately unless it nees fixing first.
Pretty ... and pretty proud of it
