Is my belt size too big?
I’m looking for a belt that will fit my late-1980s Sanyo P 30 turntable; I don't have the old belt so can't measure it, but I calculate the circumference required is 685 plus say 30 for the spindle = 715 mm total circumference. However, no-one seems to sell belts this long – have I calculated something wrong? Thanks for any help you can give.
Mantra Audio will sort you out matey. I cant be fagged to post a link, so a quick google is in order. They have your belt in stock according to their webby site.
Thank you floyd droid - I've ordered the biggest belt they have.
Give em a call to make sure that you have ordered the correct one. TB201 (Sanyo all models) 631 mm is the one i reckon you need.
Dunna hurt to check does it
.

That's because belts need to stretch a little. Without any tension they'd just drop off.
