That one on ebay is the Argentine one and yes gets a good review, sadly they dont do it for the RP6 otherwise I would of got one!
My Groovetracer was $308 delivered so more than happy!
BTW you Inspired Rega looks great and glad your enjoying your vinyl!
I must admit I was very surprised at the improvement its given me.
And the missus thinks it looks nice too result

Same here, bonus if you get a download code - I just stick it on the NAS and burn a CD for the car or iPod - for serious listening its got to be vinyl!

Looking forward to seeing what difference the sub plater damp kit makes.
Ok, so how does the Sub Patter kit sound to you?
Well after numerous permitations couldn't really tell any difference.
Don't know if this is due to my ears or my system or both.
Anyway I've just purchased this
It has some good right ups on Vinyl Engine forum and half the price of the IsoKinetik ISOsub GT 2 S Upgrade Rega Sub Platter
So just waiting for it to arrive.
I may be wrong Andy . . . I believe Dany Cobalt has the Inspire with Vinyl platter and 3mm Vinyl mat, perhaps he can shed some light?
The SP kit might help with the base boom?
Cheers CJSF, bass boom seems to have gone, a mixture of speaker placement and TT upgrade.
Happy now, had a whole day listening to vinyl. Going to be knackered tonight at work tho.
Yep, I've got the black platter that looks exactly like a record - beware the dangers of vinyl and wine! I have on one occasion lowered the needle onto the vinyl platter. Torville and Dean , skating, ...
I found that it is better than the felt mat.

Yep got that now too
Be interesting to know what you think of that Sub?
Suprised at the SP damping kit not having an effect??? May be it does not work on the Inspire deck
Will let you know when it arrives.
The Argentinian SubPlatter is supposed to be very good!
I got a PM form Gus@VinylEngine asking If I would like to test one just for $20 shipping - thaty was a few weeks ago as he is just about to finish machining the RP6 version.
When are you expecting delivery?
Keep us updated when you get so we can glean your opinion on it!
Mine went to Inspire with the original sub-platter plus damping kit, and came back with the damping segments separate. They must have experience of the Inspire being better without them. Perhaps because of much greater mass of the plinth and platter?
I then upgraded the rega subplatter to the Isokinetic/ruby one.
Andy - a warning - you're only a few steps from moving coil cartridge and valve phono preamp
LOL I know I can't beleive whats happening. When I decided to get a dedicated two channel system
late last year it was supposed to last not be messed with. My previous Project TT lasted 9 yrs with no
tinkering. I'm putting it down to realising the difference in sound quality going from my av to brio,
now I want more!! See I told you this forum was dangerous
Think delivery is upto 2 weeks, will keep you informed.
Nice one with the free demo
