Best match for Marantz SA8003 amp & Polk Audio Sli9 speakers

Hi everybody,
As you probably won't speak my language, i'll do my best to make my understandable in your language...
What is my problem? O dear, i have a few but the one you can help me with is as follows:
What would be "the best" or a good mach to suit my above componets with a decent turntable? My budget is between £1000,- and £1500,- (but i'm counting in euro...) Or, should a less expensive device alodo the job?
Forget about all Pro-ject things. Clearaudio etc would be fine but a lot of English turntables are not sold in this very little country (capital of europe.. my...)

I presume then you are from Belgium?
It doesn't matter what TT you use with amp and speakers. All you need to do is get the fundamentals right. Match the turntable and arm with the correct cartridge and match the cartridge MM or MC to the phono stage loadings.
I think you need to get out and see whats available to you and whats aesthetically pleasing also. What i find nice you may find awful so get out their!
