Background rumble with RP3

I have my new Rega RP3 / Elys2 on a small table which although not wobbling is quite light.
The deck is completely level but when I play an lp ("ordinary" or 180g) there is a very
noticeable rumble. Most obvious between tracks but can be heard in quiet passages.
I assume it is motor based (?) and would appreciate any tips on removing it.

As I suspected. I would like to get a HiFi Racks wall support as you suggest FD, but the only available
wall I can use is naff plasterboard, so likely to resonate (?). I will try the weighted table in the interim
and possibly squash balls / sorbothane pod feet for the TT itself. Thanks.

The problem is likely to be that any motor noise is being amplified by the lightweight table. Is it one of those hollow type particle board affairs? I'm not knocking them as tables, but I wouldn't consider putting a TT on the Ikea type that we have a couple of.
I would suggest getting a more rigid stand. You could try a piece of heavy plywood or a paving slab or granite block on the table, to see if it improves matters.
