Anyone Heard A SUGDEN STAGE 2 phono amp ?

Last year I went on a grand tour of auditioning phono amps with a grand in my pocket . I heard many but settled eventually on this ugly little bleeder. It's not very versatile with 3 settings , 'orrible' to look at , hard to hide because of the silly ' in one end , out the other ' cable set up , BUT it sounded sweeter than phono's costing twice as much. These seem to be as scarce as rocking horse s**t and I'm just interested to see if anyone on this , arguably the biggest hi fi forum going , has one or has heard one ? I don't know of any reviews ever being in print either ? ? cheers dudes.
