No, it didn't hurt, in fact it was very pleasant. Just played my first 180g LP. The original soundtrack to 'Hawaii Five O' by Moreton Stevens......Brilliant.........A real eye opener. Haven't heard this since the 70's but managed to find a copy, brand new. I'm a happy puppy......
Yep, it gets easier and more pleasurable after each time
My Rega and Ortofon are still serving me well.................
