my current Cartridge (Ortofon 2M Bronze)  will be transferd to the new TT

Never heard either of them I am afraid but they appear to have had roughly the same retail price when new.

It would depend on a) do either come with a lid of some kind (your going to need one on all that acrylic!), and b) which one looks best to you.

If it where me I would take the new RPM 5.1 purely because of the warranty. Smile

I've had the 2Xperience acryl for just under a year and can highly recommend this TT. It's very easy to set up and the sound quality is really astounding. My previous turntables were an AR and a Linn and I can honesltly say the 2Xperience is superior to both of these and of course doesn't need constant fiddling to get it to sound it's best.

And that amply demonstrates why, on this and any other forum, it is best not to ask either / or questions.
